Juicing - The Next Step - BBQ Blow Out Recipe

This beautiful drink is a recipe from the uh-mazing Joe Cross himself. It juices to the bright color of magenta, and tastes nothing like barbecue lol! Rather more like a buttery, sweet, summer lunch,
which I assume may be where the name came from.

We've done a few simple more fruit based juices, and by this time I trust you've played around with your own concoctions....you were right?

Now, it's time to try some more variety of vegetables and add some new colors! We've been told the darker the fruit/vegetable the more nutrient rich it is.

So in this juice we're adding in some purple pride! If you're already growling at me thinking this is going to taste awful because... I bet you despise the first ingredient, aaaaand the second.

Get over it already, aren't you learning that juiced items taste differently?! Just try it, and if you're hating me for this already just adjust your quantity until you're familiar with these new flavors.

I'll give you 2 recipes, 1 for the bold and 1 for the weary.

The bold:
One beet - peeled washed and with leaves

Half a head of purple cabbage

2 or 3 carrots

2 apples I prefer red for sweetness

1 lemon juiced

Juice all and hand squeeze lemon. Enjoy!

The weary:

1/2 to 1/4 head of purple cabbage

Half of one peeled beet plus leaves

3 apples again red preferred

2 carrots 3 if you like carrots

1 - 2 lemons juiced

Juice all and hand squeeze lemons. Smile it's good!

You guys are becoming juice pros! I really enjoy hearing the difference these drinks are making in your life, thank you!!!! And don't worry, I'll keep giving you sweet delicious recipes, summer farmers markets are SO close after all!

Please feel free to tell me about your experiences, don't forget to share and follow!
